I would also like to acknowledge Patrolman Jeremiah
(Jerry) Eberhardt.
Patrolman Jerry Eberhardt was appointed to the Buffalo Police Department May 1, 1929 and spent most of his thirty-seven year carrier assigned to the Accident Investigation Division.
Jerry maintained throughout his carrier many extremely detailed scrapbooks preserving pictures, newspaper clippings and mementos relative to the Buffalo Police Department.
I was very fortunate to have had access to the many fascinating and informative journals and have posted much of the articles on this web page.
Patrolman Jerry Eberhardt retired from the Department on July 31, 1965 and passed away four years later on September 28, 1969 at the age of seventy-one My sincere thanks,
